Sign Up for CPR Training for Adult, Child & Infant Victims

Ready to learn how to save a life? Learn the basics of CPR from the Howard County Department of Fire and Rescue Services. This FREE non-certification class covers CPR for adult, child and infant victims, choking relief, and how to use an AED.

As a student, you’ll get hands on practice to build life-saving skills and participate in fun activities to challenge your knowledge! By the end of the course, you’ll walk away with the confidence to provide help in the case of sudden cardiac arrest until first responders arrive.

Classes are appropriate for those 12 years or older. Anyone under 18 years old must be accompanied by an adult.

To the keep the training environment distraction free for all students, children under 12 years old aren’t permitted in the classroom.

About the Instructor

Tearraney Zanguina is a Risk Reduction Educator at the Howard County Department of Fire and Rescue Services. In her role, Tearraney teaches Howard County residents and visitors the basics of CPR and bleeding control, and hosts classes on first aid, fire safety, and more. With five years of experience as an educator, Tearraney started her career with Baltimore City Public Schools and served as a part of the University of Maryland Medical Center Safety Committee. She is a certified First Aid/CPR/AED instructor through the American Red Cross.
